Broken Mommy

Mommy is broken.  I am old and hurt my back.  I've been doing a running program and decided to put an extra run in for good measure this past weekend.  Good measure alright.  It's probably what broke me.  The only other times I hurt my back like this was when I was 4 months pregnant with each of the boys.  No worries, I'm definitely not pregnant.

So I asked Roo for help this morning.  I told him mommy's back has a boo boo and that I needed him to be my helper.  Usually he's a great helper.  Today, he translated him helping me get him out of his crib to putting his feet up on the crib so I could get him out feet first.  Very helpful Roo!  He said that his feet would help.  Nice!

I did get an unsolicited kiss and hug tonight.  That's better than any help ever!

And then at bedtime while we were reading he told me that he wanted more mommies.  I wasn't quite sure what he meant so I asked.  He told me that he wants more mommies just like this one.  :)
