Recent Adventures of The Roo

The Roo has been very busy lately which is why Mommy hasn't updated the blog in a while (at least that's her excuse). Here are some pictures of his recent adventures.

The Roo is great at helping around the house. Hopefully he'll be just as good a helper when he's a teenager! The Roo decided he wanted to try soccer-tots. The hula hoop on the second Saturday has been his favorite thing about soccer so far. Mommy and daddy enjoy watching all the little tots run around. The Roo is happy to enjoy an activity where he doesn't get licked!
The Roo was introduced to finger painting. Finger painting is a lot of fun and it's of course even more fun to eat the paints.
The Roo enjoyed wearing his bunny ears and going on an Easter egg hunt. Even more fun was discovering that the eggs were filled with chocolate and trying to eat the chocolater before mom and dad could take it away.

But really, it's so easy to blame The Roo when he's the one holding the marker!

Long Time No Blog.....

We knew early on that Baxter and The Roo would be the best of friends. Recently Baxter has taken to crying while The Roo is napping. For example, today The Roo took a really long afternoon nap...this was great for mom and dad, but not so much fun for Baxter. Baxter and The Roo play hard all weekend long and on Sunday nights, Baxter just crashes. This is also nice for mom and dad; an evening without licks!

Crazy House

Tonight we decided it would be a lot of fun to run around the house like crazy lunatics. We chased The Roo and he and Baxter both thought it was hilarious. The Roo can run real fast now but he also falls more too. He thinks it's funny to fake fall. Baxter thinks it's funny to lick him when he falls!

Baxter's Ready to Play

So the tape measure was so much fun that The Roo decided to take his morning nap with it. I'm sure it was just as cuddly as his patchy bear. When he woke up, Baxter immediately looked at me with his big puppy dog eyes and said "hurry up slow poke, what are you waiting for, go get him so we can play some more." Silly mommy, how could you forget that Baxter's in charge!

Mommy's Back

Mommy has returned from her trip to Boston. Daddy said that Baxter and The Roo had a great week together. The Roo was full speed ahead this morning when he got up. He has also learned that it's a lot of fun to use a tape measure to poke Baxter.....who knew you could have so much fun with a tape measure!

The Roo Enters Boyhood

Or at least that's what the 1st haircut certificate says. Mommy's not ready for The Roo to enter boyhood, but I guess that's what a 1st haircut does. So The Roo and his dada got a haircut together and all those cute curls are gone. Enjoy the before and after.

The doggie makes for a comfortable seat, especially when you want to kick back and have a refreshing drink.
